Fraud prevention
Principles, obligations and controls that keep our channels from being used for fraud, impersonation, phishing or smishing.
Purpose and scope
It protects end users, our customers, operators and the business messaging ecosystem. It applies to customers, partners, integrators and users of our services (SMS, messaging, API, SMPP, web platforms and bulk uploads).
Customer obligations
Use the platform only for lawful, authorized communications, protect credentials and API keys, control the content and links in their messages, never impersonate brands or request passwords or OTPs deceptively, and notify us immediately of any irregularity.
Our controls
We validate customers, senders, brands and codes; monitor content; analyze links and domains; apply preventive blocking rules and progressive risk management; and keep traceability and audit records of every send.
Incidents and preventive suspension
When we see signs of fraud we may request information, block URLs or senders and preventively suspend campaigns, credentials or accounts. Reactivation requires fixing the root cause and strengthening controls.
Good practices and reporting
Before every campaign, check that links point to your own domains, avoid unnecessary URL shorteners and confirm your database is authorized. Report any suspicion through the support form.
